Firstly, the verdict on my knee is good and bad. Yes an operation is required for torn cartilage but recovery, all things going well, should mean I'm back at end of May. Right now that just sounds like next month, so it's bit easier to cope with. Whether I can be fit for then .... ?
That was a good start to the season on Saturday. To keep the roll going I think the team just needs to be more urgent in defence and not let the other team have time on the ball. In attack I think we looked good when we used the pitch width. As I said, this game is so easy from the sideline.
Cheers

End of May would be great for us John.
The backs will have their hands full with that speedy RV attacker this week. Their back line is not so crash hot though and we did exploit them on the flanks and straight over the top in the trial. I think the dink over their defence with our guys holding the line at the halfway and then breaking together could prove decisive this week. Then again we could always rely on a dodgy 85th minute &^%*ing penalty decision...
"dodgy 85th minute &^%*ing penalty decision..."
Guess Who says:
Stone cold penalty...just like the Italian and Chinese ones v Australia.
If any of those three had happened at the other end - admit it - you'd be screaming for a penalty.
Besides which..you went down by 2 goals not one...
ROFLMAO :)
Oh..'sort of' good news John. be great if you're back by May.
Kev, why the anonymous?
Two penalties, one not given when it should have been (a week ago), the second an absolute shocking call. And as for the two goals - you're either being daft or just trying to wind me up further (not possible).
Anyway. . .
The back four will hold the line, one voice will direct traffic, plenty of speed with Graeme, Gary & Dave to control the opposition attacking line.
we should bring in fines for anonymous - use it but at least type your name . . .
Go on fine me. Now, how ya gunna catch me?
Who said that?
