A Fine Time Was Had By All

By FM Ant
You would think the fines would lighten up somewhat as we are a team sitting on top of the table with seemingly not many worries at all . . . but reality is that it is becoming easier and easier to fine people. After updating this week’s game, we now have amassed $402 in fines so far this season. Thanks to all the contributions made on Saturday by individuals the fines tin now has $249 in it.
Notable fines this week just gone: $2 for Pete for saving the wrong penalty and $1 for Sean for waiting until everyone was around and then announcing that he was paying $50 to the fines tin (show off). Then there was Shane who got fined $2 for going down injured but not actually knowing what he injured, and of course Ian who’s best kick of the season cost him $2 as he hit it straight into Shane’s nuts. And of course we can’t forget the non-players for the week Fergus who ‘would’ve played if it was a final’ ($1 for big noting) and Mark who apparently has finished his daughter’s 20th birthday celebrations and is looking forward to playing next week before he has a break to start making
arrangements for her 21st. If you’re not sure what you owe or what you’re being fined for, see the fines section to the left.

Good win boys, see you all at training.

Forgot to mention it yesterday Ant but GP spent half the game waving to the linesman. I think he fancied him.

I hope Shane has copped a fine (to go with the bruising) for getting his considerable assets in the way. Ian was trying to take some valuable time off the clock only to be 'tackled' by his own player.

OK, fine for me for not consulting the fines table before second guessing FM's adjudication.

PS/ Not to mention the fine for pre-empting a fine.

PPS/ I've got credit you know.
